About Us


Wenlock Health & Safety Ltd was set up in April 2002 by
Jackie Horsewood. Having worked for a Principal Contractor as their internal H&S support for years, there appeared to be a lack of realistic and pragmatic external support for smaller contractors in the Shropshire area, so Jackie set off alone to start sharing her knowledge and experience to assist local companies.

The Company very quickly grew to three members of staff by 2005, including current Director Becki Shenton, who has helped develop the standard and quality of service we offer, as well as broaden ways in which we can help our customers over the years, and has been a Director alongside Jackie since 2014.

Our extensive knowledge and experience across all staff members over the years has been developed into systems and services that give our clients meaningful and easy to use methods of undertaking and managing health and safety in their workplaces. We pride ourselves on an approachable and personal service, where all team members offer understanding and pragmatic help in any circumstance, whether you need telephone guidance or face to face assistance. 

Wenlock has worked with customers all over the country and of all different natures, including all types of construction contractors, Local Authorities, hair salons, joinery workshops, designers, holiday lettings and more.

Customers can subscribe to our services on an annual basis, which means you’re able to name us as your retained consultants and call on us throughout the year to assist you with your documentation, training, understanding and H&S issues.
