Lone Working Interactive Online E-learning Course
The hazards faced by lone workers can be made significantly more high risk if effective training has not been provided. Whether it’s dealing with aggressive members of the public or contractors, lone working places any employee at a greater degree of risk than those working in teams. It is essential that any employer has in place the right procedures to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all staff whilst at work.
This means that any risks and hazards associated with the task or lone working must be assessed and control measures implemented. This could include supervision, training, PPE or instruction. In addition all employers must also check to make sure that the control measures are used and the risk assessment is reviewed.
This module provides the perfect knowledge base for any lone workers, providing them with the correct information and skills to ensure they can make the right decisions in a potentially hazardous situation.
