Course Overview

This course will teach you how to perform face fit tests on colleagues, and allow you to complete them competently at your convenience. 

Our Train the Tester Course is an in-depth training course, which teaches delegates how to perform qualitative face fit tests in line with INDG 479, HSG 53 and BSIF Fit2Fit guidelines. 

Delivered by our experienced and Fit2Fit accredited tester, you will go trough the legal background, why we need to complete the tests, consequences of not completing them, and a practical session using the full kit in order to ensure you come away with the competence to perform face fit tests on tight fitting RPE (FFP3)  yourself. 

The course is ideal for various internal managers in different industries, mainly construction and manufacturing, where staff turnover or frequent changes may make it harder to engage an external consultancy like ours to come and perform individual tests for you, as and when needed. 

Please note – this course is for qualitative fit testing only. Test kits are available for practical elements of the course, however, kits must be purchased separately. Delivered by our Fit2Fit accredited tester and written against Fit2Fit standards.

• Practical demonstration and application 

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate.It is recommended that a refresher for this course is completed every three years as a minimum.

Costs

The course is £200 + VAT per person, which includes registration, certification and refreshments. You will also receive a pack of practical go-to guides and templates in order for you to go away and complete face fit tests confidently and correctly. Cancellation terms apply.
