This SMSTS course is aimed at project managers and site managers, as well as personnel who deal with construction projects within their role. Delegates will come away with the tools to manage health and safety on construction sites.

The course is recognised by the United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) as meeting the standards required on their construction sites.

Requirements:
Delegates must have a good understanding of spoken and written English. Existing knowledge of basic health and safety requirements is beneficial but not a necessity.

Course Delivery/Assessment
The course is delivered in an open and interactive manner, and involves the use of case studies and group ‘workshop’ style training. Delegates will also need to undertake some home study through the course with the use of the workbooks and course material. There is a multiple choice test at the end of the course which must be passed in order to obtain the certificate and qualification.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate – please allow roughly 10 weeks for the certificate to arrive with you following the course.
The qualification lasts for 5 years and a refresher course must be completed prior to the expiry date.

Costs
The course is £495 + VAT per person for the 5 day, and £285 + VAT per person for the 2 day refresher. This includes all course material to keep, registration, certification and refreshments (please note lunch is not included). Click here for our current dates.
